On December 6, 2024, CUFE Business School successfully held the "Unity of Knowledge and Action: Business School Practice Teaching Model Exchange Seminar" in Room 615 of the main teaching building at the College South Road Campus. Organized by the Department of Marketing, the seminar aimed to explore and share the latest developments in practice teaching models at business schools and to discuss how to build new mechanisms for deep integration of industry and education to cultivate talent collaboratively.
The seminar opened with a keynote speech by Professor Liu Wengang from Beijing Technology and Business University’s Business School, titled "Constructing a Collaborative Talent Cultivation Mechanism for Deep Integration of Industry and Education Based on Platform-Based Marketing Practices." Professor Liu delved into the significance of platform-based marketing practices and proposed a series of innovative teaching models designed to foster closer ties between education and industry.
Next, Associate Professor Liang Xiaoning from the Trinity Business School at Trinity College Dublin shared her insights on "Corporate Partnerships and Teaching Project Design." Her presentation provided an international perspective and drew on her practical experience in industry consulting, offering valuable ideas for designing teaching projects.
Following the expert presentations, participating faculty engaged in in-depth discussions, exploring innovations and challenges in practice teaching models. The seminar not only provided CUFE Business School faculty with a platform for exchange and learning but also offered new ideas and directions for future teaching reforms and industry-education integration.
The seminar was chaired by Professor Gu Leilei, Head of the Department of Marketing. Experts and scholars, including Professor An Hexin, Professor Wang Shenghui, and Professor Gao Yongling from the Department of Marketing and the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management, also participated in the discussions.
