On the afternoon of 22 November 2024, the working meeting of the self-assessment of business administration degree authorisation points of Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) by experts entering the university was held in the MBA Education Centre. The evaluation expert group consists of Professor Qi Yudong, Dean of School of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University, Professor Chen Kaihua of School of Public Policy and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Liao Guanmin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Business of Renmin University of China, Professor Li Kai, Associate Dean of School of Business of Nankai University, and Professor Ma Zhiming, Head of the Accounting Department of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. Dean of Graduate School Bai Yanfeng, Dean of Business School and Director of MBA Education Centre Lin Song, Dean of School of Accounting Wu Xi, as well as representatives of faculty and students of Business School and School of Accounting attended the meeting, which was presided over by Vice Dean of Business School Liu Xiaoyuan.
Firstly, Dean Bai Yanfeng delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the Graduate School, Dean Bai Yanfeng thanked all the evaluation experts for coming to guide the work and hoped that the evaluation experts would make comprehensive ‘diagnosis and pulse checking’ for the construction of degree authorisation points, offer advice and suggestions, and point out the problems and deficiencies in a straightforward way, so that with the wisdom and experience of the experts, they could provide guidance for the deepening of the construction of business administration degree authorisation points in the next step. With the wisdom and experience of the experts, the university will point out the direction and reform path for the next step to deepen the construction of the degree authorisation points of Business Administration, and promote the university to further do a good job in the work of the degree authorisation points of Business Administration in the areas of talent cultivation, scientific research and social service.

Professor Lin Song, Dean of the Business School and Director of MBA Education Centre, made a self-assessment report on behalf of the degree authorization point of Business Administration, reporting in detail the basic situation of the degree authorization point, cultivation objectives, degree conferment standards, faculty, scientific research, teaching and research support, and management services.
Through listening to the report, checking the supporting materials and talking with representatives of professors and students, the evaluation team has gained a broad and in-depth understanding of the construction and development of the degree authorisation point. After a comprehensive and detailed understanding and assessment, the expert group fully affirmed the effectiveness of the degree authorization point in cultivation characteristics, faculty construction, teaching and research support, etc., and analysed the existing problems around the existing curriculum system, and put forward targeted opinions and suggestions for improvement. After in-depth discussion, the expert group unanimously agreed that the degree authorisation point of Business Administration of Central University of Finance and Economics adheres to nurturing people for the Party and the country, has clear talent cultivation objectives, distinctive talent cultivation characteristics, strong teaching and research support, standardised management, rigorous standards, perfect quality assurance system and outstanding results, and unanimously agreed that the degree authorisation point of Business Administration passes the assessment.

Finally, Professor Wu Xi, Dean of the School of Accounting, made a concluding speech. On behalf of the BBA degree authorisation, Dean Wu Xi expressed his heartfelt thanks to the evaluation team again, and said that the opinions and suggestions put forward by the team were of great significance in promoting the construction of BBA degree authorisation, and that the degree authorisation would continue to carry out the spirit of the National Conference on Education, absorb the opinions of the experts, formulate detailed improvement measures, enhance the quality of talent cultivation, and further increase the number of degree authorisations.
